Daniel Silva is the CEO of Vision Computer Services, Inc. (VCS), a company he founded in 2006 with a mission to provide exceptional products and services to Pampa and the surrounding area. Daniel’s fascination with technology dates back to his childhood, inspired by sci-fi movies like “Star Wars” and “Star Trek.” These films sparked his imagination about technology’s endless possibilities, and he developed a passion for electronics. By middle school, he was deeply immersed in computers, spending countless hours in the computer lab to learn everything he could about programming and hardware. By high school, Daniel had saved up enough to buy the Apple IIC, which he meticulously explored and mastered. After receiving a scholarship to Texas Tech University, Daniel pursued computer engineering, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a minor in computer science and math. Following graduation and prior to starting VCS , Daniel worked as an instrumentation engineer for thirteen years. Daniel’s academic background and professional experience have equipped him with the knowledge and skills to consistently deliver top-notch service to his clients.
Growing up, Daniel was influenced by his father, who was an entrepreneur and minister. Working in the family business and being involved in his father’s ministry instilled in Daniel a strong work ethic, a desire to serve, and a solid understanding of business operations. After leaving his engineering job, Daniel identified a growing need for IT expertise in his community. Daniel Silva has been into sci-fi movies, with all of their enthralling and futuristic technology, since he was a kid watching them come to life on the big screen. By high school, the first color computer, the Apple IIC, had been released, and Silva had saved up enough to purchase one of his own. From then on, he spent most of his time mastering the interface and taking his new computer apart to uncover how it worked.
