Daniel's fascination with technology dates back to his childhood when he was inspired by sci-fi movies like Star Wars and Star Trek. These films sparked his imagination about technology's endless possibilities, and he developed a passion for electronics. By middle school, he was deeply immersed in computers, spending countless hours in the computer lab to learn everything he could about programming and hardware. By high school, Daniel had saved up enough to buy the Apple IIC, which he meticulously explored and mastered. After receiving a scholarship to Texas Tech University, Daniel pursued computer engineering, graduating with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minor in computer science and math. Following graduation and prior to starting VCS, Daniel worked as an instrumentation engineer for 13 years.
